CORSICA & SARDINIA

BASTIA
Although some way from the capital, Bastia is the main commercial port for Corsica, found to the northeast of the island. As a city with an authentic character, she will mesmerize you with her narrow alleys, the colorful houses in contrast with the modern buildings, the cozy cafes and the wonderful views. Her picturesque Vieux Port with many bars and restaurants, as well as her Old Town or “Terra Vecchia” as it is called, with the imposing Saint-Jean-Baptiste church, are only some of her highlights not to be missed! Spend your day swimming in Arinella white sanded beach and in the evening have a drink at the terrace of a cute café in Saint Nicolas Square.
CALVI
Calvi is a commune in the Haute – Corse department of France on the island of Corsica. After reaching her port, make sure to visit the beautiful Citadel, the main attraction of the town with the array of colorful buildings and high quality restaurants. If you like challenges, don’t miss the chance to walk to the Notre Dame De La Serra, because the view of the bay of Calvi is at least breathtaking. The city is also famous for the amazing beaches of powdered white sand! Algajola is one of the most wonderful beaches of the whole Corsica! And if you are looking for edible souvenirs, visit the close town of L’lle Rousse, where you will find an aromatic food market. Calvi is definitely Corsica’s little gem, having a great appeal to super yachts each year, as she combines history with natural wealth!
BONIFACIO
Bonifacio is a natural harbor on the south Corsica, a commercial spot and well known as a yacht stop! There, you can distinguish elements from both Italian and French culture. The intense existence of limestone and sheer cliffs make it one of the most stunning towns of the Mediterranean, presenting colorful houses, several monasteries and classy restaurants. Charter your yacht and make a visit in the nearby granite islands, Cavallo and Lavezzo, administrated by Bonifacio.
LA MADDALENA
The Maddalena archipelago (protected as a National Park) lies off the northeastern corner of Sardinia, close to the Costa Smeralda. There are many rocky islands in the coastline with clear and shimmering waters, isolated beaches and beautiful untouched sandy bays for boating, swimming and sunbathing holidays! Two lovely beaches are Spalmatore and Monte Rena. The island of la Maddalena is connected by a narrow causeway to the nearby island of Caprera, which has been declared a nature reserve due to the variety of rare species found on the island.
PORTO CERVO
Porto Cervo is the main center of Costa Smeralda in Sardinia. In the summer, it becomes one of the most popular destinations for several yachts and magnetizes well-known personalities worldwide. Back to 1960s, the Prince Karim Aga Khan was the first charmed by the land that was to become a high-end holiday resort. Combining beautiful beaches along with picturesque alleys for walking and various bars and restaurants, Porto Cervo has no other purpose than leaving your stress behind and feeling refreshed!
